The threshold every living thing crosses, and the substrate every regenerative system depends on. Soil is dead matter being cycled by decomposers. Food is matter that has been alive. Mycorrhizae and the gut microbiome eat what is dying. Compost is the engine. A wiki rooted in life cannot be a wiki that omits death — the omission is the move that turns regenerative thinking into greenwashed continuous-growth fantasy.
