Vineyard

A farm growing grapes — for wine, for table fruit, for juice, or for raisins. Vines are perennial like orchard trees but trained to trellised geometry that organizes the entire visual identity of a vineyard landscape. A vineyard is also a soil/climate document: the specific dirt, slope, and aspect a vine grows on shapes the fruit in ways no other crop expresses as cleanly.
