Pocono Heritage Land Trust
Also known as: PHLT
A regional nonprofit land trust founded in 1985 to conserve land in Monroe and Pike counties, Pennsylvania. PHLT holds easements and direct preserves across over 4,000 acres of the Pocono Plateau, including key portions of the Tannersville Cranberry Bog buffer and several of the bioregion's smaller, less-known kettle bogs and headwater forests. Among the early land trusts to operate in the Poconos and a partner of the Brodhead Watershed Association and The Nature Conservancy.
