Also known as: Eastern NC, Inner Banks, NC Coastal Plain

The flat sandy lowland east of the NC Piedmont — Greenville, Goldsboro, Kinston, Wilson, and the small-town tobacco-and-vegetable country between them. Some of the most productive sweet-potato and pork-production land in the US sits here.
