Founded in May 1977, one of the oldest historical societies in Delaware. The Society maintains the cultural heritage of the Harrington area across three buildings — the Museum at 108 Fleming Street, the Old Church, and the Railroad Tower — with a collection of more than 70,000 artifacts, some dating to the early 1700s. Open the third Sunday of each month and by appointment; an active research archive of Harrington Journals (1933–1998) and primary materials on the city's railroad-and-farming history.
