Acta Non Verba (ANV) is a youth urban farm nonprofit in West Oakland, founded in 2010 by Navy veteran Kelly Carlisle. BIPOC- and women-led, it elevates the lives of youth and families by challenging extractive dynamics through farming and access to the natural environment. The Farm Park is one of two ANV growing sites in Oakland.
