Mob Stocking — High Density

Also known as: ultra-high stock density grazing, UHSDG

An extreme form of mob-grazing in which extremely high stock density (often 200,000–500,000 lbs animal weight per acre at the moment of grazing) is concentrated for very short durations (often under an hour) in tightly-fenced 'sub-paddocks.' Practiced in some of the most-intensive regenerative-grazing operations (Greg Judy, Allan Williams, Understanding Ag clients) for specific soil-rebuilding objectives — particularly where rapid increase in soil cover and trampled plant residue is the goal.
