Kate Raworth studied economics at Oxford in the 1990s, finding the dominant neoclassical framework increasingly inadequate to the problems she encountered. She worked as a senior researcher at Oxfam (10 years), as co-author of the UN Human Development Report, and in academic positions at Oxford and Cambridge.
